Namaskaram,
My name is K. Narayana, and I am raising this campaign for my elder brother, Kalaga Venkata Ramachandra Sastry (K. Ramachandra).
Many people may recognise him as a Telugu cinema artist who has appeared in numerous films over the years. He is best known for his role as Veerabhadram in Venky movie and has also appeared in films such as Dubai Seenu, Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ), Sarileru Neekevvaru, and many more.
About a year ago, my brother suffered a severe brain stroke, which left him with paralysis and significant weakness on one side of his body. Since then, he has been undergoing continuous treatment, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation in an effort to regain his mobility and independence.
My brother and I have always lived together and supported each other. I work as a teacher, helping children with their studies at a temple in Hyderabad, and I have been doing everything I can to ensure he receives the care he needs.
To support his recovery, I recently shifted him to Jeeva Rehabilitation Center in Hyderabad, where he is receiving rehabilitation, physiotherapy, medication, and nursing care. We are grateful to the friends, well-wishers, and members of the community who have supported us so far and helped us reach this stage of recovery.
However, the cost of treatment remains overwhelming, and we have already accumulated pending dues. Without continued financial support, there is a real risk that his rehabilitation and treatment may be interrupted, affecting the progress he has worked so hard to achieve.
Estimated Monthly Rehabilitation Expenses
Nursing & Care Support – ₹80,000
Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy & Medical Services – ₹75,000
Accommodation & Rehabilitation Centre Charges – ₹40,000
Medicines & Medical Consumables – ₹45,000
Investigations & Other Medical Expenses – ₹10,000
Estimated Monthly Cost: ₹2,50,000
Fundraising Goal: ₹7,50,000
The funds raised will help cover approximately three months of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, medication, nursing care, and related medical expenses, giving my brother the opportunity to continue his recovery without interruption.
For years, my brother entertained audiences through his work in Telugu cinema. Today, he is fighting one of the toughest battles of his life.
I humbly request your support. Any contribution, big or small, will help him continue his treatment and recovery journey. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and network.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
With gratitude,
K. Narayana
